7 months later....

Well, it has been 7 months since I posted last and so much has happened. I don't quite know where to start. I went through our pictures and got overwhelmed. I realized that I take a lot of pictures! But I am glad that I do because looking back at all of them, makes me happy and smile...and even feel a little sad that time is just flying by. Our kids are growing up so fast. I have loved this year that we have been in Nashville and it makes me sad to think that we might be moving next year. So, I'll just enjoy the time we have here.
Anyway, this is what has been going on in our life.....

Sadie turned 6! I can't believe my little girl is getting so old. For her birthday this year, we rented a limo and had a fAncY nAncY party. It was so much fun! All the kids loved the limo...the adults did too! I madea CD with our favorite songs and we danced the night away, or at least danced all the way to and from the cheesecake factory. I know, kind of an interesting place to have a kids birthday party, but Sadie isn't an ordinary kid. She is 6 going on 30! She loves the cheesecake factory, so that's where we went. (it was between that and Mcdonalds!) We all really pushed for cheesecake. =) She said it was her best birthday ever...so I am happy.

Summer Utah trip-5 weeks

Tyler's brother, Jason took us rock climbing. This was my second time, but it seemed like my first. It was as scary as ever. Even though I know that they have a hold of me, it still terrifies me. What can I say, I am a baby. I am totally scared of heights.
Just being up in the mountains was refreshing though. And I enjoyed watching Tyler and Jas more than doing it myself. Thanks Jas for taking us!

Parker and his buddy Ben.

girls boating trip at utah lake

it started to pour rain. we ducked under towels until it stopped. that was probably the funniest part of the whole trip. ahhh the simple things in life that make it great!

We found this nest outside our house in a little tree. It was fun to go look at it everyday with the kids. It took about 2 weeks for the eggs to hatch and when they did, the kids were so excited to see the little birds.

Tyler's cinco de mustachio. What a sexy look!

We bought and cooked our first live lobster. It was so yummy! Tyler made it for mothers day. The kids had so much fun with it, it was kind of hard to know we were going to cook it.

Then there was the flood last May that destroyed parts of Nashville. It was pretty sad. We felt so blessed because our home and everything made it out ok. But a lot of people lost everything.
Unfortunetly, the day of the flood, Tyler's cousin and her friend came in to town to visit and see Nashville. They couldn't have picked a worse time to visit. We felt bad! But we made the best of it and tried to do some fun things indoors.

Tyler went out after to help clean up and this is what neighborhoods looked like.

Wow this took me way too long!! But, I really needed to catch up.
