--thanksgiving--

I hope that everyone had a good Thanksgiving. We didn't stuff ourselves too much with food and I didn't overdue it with the pie, but Tyler sure did. We made 2 banana cream pies and let's just say that he REALLY like them! It actually made me happy seeing him eat all the pie because it is usually me eating all sweets! We got together with some friends and had a really good time. There were 10 adults...and we had 11 pies. We had a lot of leftovers!
We did not go shopping the next morning. I debated if I wanted to or not and in the end, I decided that I would just spend money that we do not have on things that we do not need. Instead we took Sadie and Parker to the children's museum. Oh wait, we did go to the mall later that night, but it was just to get out of the house.
I can't believe that Christmas is just around the corner. Time is really flying by!

==bee movie==

So, we took Sadie and Parker to see Bee Movie the other night and we had heard that it wasn't that good and that it is only for kids.....but Tyler and I really liked it. We thought it was good and had some funny parts. Sadie liked it too. I don't think that we would have gone to see it if we didn't have kids and maybe having kids there made it better, I don't know, but I recommend seeing it.

**playing at the children's museum**

Omaha's Children's Museum

It is getting cold outside so we are finding fun things to do inside. We went with some friends to the children's museum and Sadie had so much fun! Parker had fun for the first hour, but just like Parker style he ended up crying and I was without a binky....so we had to cut it a little short. Sadie's favorite thing about the museum is the balls that you put over a blower and they float in the air. She thinks it is the coolest.

Dreaming....

I had a dream two nights ago that we were done with school. We were packing up and getting ready to go. It was the best feeling and we were so excited. Tyler has been in school our whole marriage, so I couldn't believe that we were finally done! Life was good.
Then I heard Parker cry and I slowly opened my eyes and woke up to reality. I lay there for a sec., just to make sure that it was not real and that we really do still have a year and a half. For a moment I was bummed, that was only a dream? oh man. But that only lasted for a small moment....because I am happy where we are at right now. (keep telling myself that, huh?). No really, these times have been so fun for us. We have enjoyed living on our own and we have learned so much about each other and about life. I love where we live and we have such wonderful friends out here! I am soooo excited to be done, but I wouldn't want to be anywhere else then where we are at right now. Life IS good. The hard times and the struggles help us to be better people. We have learned a lot from them.

Sadie loves snakes, bugs, turtles...anything that crawls or slithers. I think we have a little tom boy on our hands.

Curtis and Sadie

Curtis came home from his mission this last week...yeah!! Sadie would not leave his side and she constantly gave me updates about him, where he was going, what he said to her. If he walked upstairs, she let me know. It was cute. We celebrated their birthdays while we were there. The picture with the sombreros on is at a Mexican restaurant in Park City that is really yummy. I ate a piece of this cake everyday for like 4 days + the sugar cookies that Jean ordered from my favorite bakery/restaurant...Village Baker.
