nice weather

The weather has been so nice the last couple of days and so we have been outside a lot. It is a nice change because it has been a hard winter being that it was one of the coldest winters in like a catrillion years. I am not going to miss Omaha's winter...actually I am not going to miss Omaha's summer either! :) But, I would rather have the hot, humid, sweaty weather than the ice storms and wind. This will be our last summer out here (kind of sad to think about...to be honest). Anyway, here are some fun things that we have been doing.

b-day

Ok this picture totally grosses me out. This is the face he pulls, whenever I pull out the camera. But anyway, it is his birthday today and I just wanted to say HAPPY BIRTHDAY BABE!! I have such a wonderful husband who is so devoted to our family and is such a great dad to our children. He makes me happy! And he makes me laugh...all the time!!

conference Sunday

Conference was this weekend and it was such a great couple of days! It was so awesome that we were able to sustain our new prophet, Thomas S. Monson. I thought his talk yesterday was so funny! We were laughing so hard. It was great to have some humor in conference, but the spirit was still so strong. I really liked the talk that Elder Ballard gave on mothers. I absolutely love my mom and my mother in law. They are such great women!! And I just love being a mom so I love hearing talks about mothers and how we can do better.

Sunday was such a fun day. We started the day off making a HUGE breakfast with Spencer and Natalie. After we ate, I seriously felt that full feeling that you feel only on Thanksgiving. We ate so much! Then in between sessions we went for a walk up to the trains.

Parker LOVES the vacuum!! Every time I pull it out, he rushes over to help. He is so intrigued with it.

graduation party

We went to a graduation party Saturday night for Bryce and Brittany. It was so much fun. Brittany you sure know how to put on a GREAT party!! The food was great and it was fun to get together with friends and meet new people. I wish that I didn't have to take off early, but my little Parker, he is an angel (well, I'm not sure I would go that far) until about 7:30 and then he is ready for bed. I guess it works out nice when we are just at home, but it doesn't work out to well when we are out. Anyway, it was way fun!!
